Biography:
There have been multiple characters using the name White Tiger in Marvel Comics. The original White Tiger was Hector Ayala. Born in Puerto Rico, Hector discovered the mystical Tiger Amulets, granting him enhanced strength, speed, and martial arts skills. He became the first Puerto Rican superhero in Marvel Comics.
Tragically, Hector was framed for murder and, despite being cleared, was later killed by Gideon Mace. His legacy, however, continued through his family.
Hector's sister, Awilda Ayala, briefly took up the mantle. Following her, his niece, Angela del Toro, became the new White Tiger. A former FBI agent, Angela inherited the Amulets and honed her abilities under Daredevil's tutelage.
Most recently, Ava Ayala, Hector's younger sister, has been the primary White Tiger. She gained her powers through the Tiger God as part of a contest organized by Kraven the Hunter. She is a highly skilled martial artist and a frequent member of various superhero teams, including the Avengers Academy.
